, career firefighter with anne arundel county. he was flown to washington hospital center, said to be in serious condition. not sure if he has burns or smoke inhalation injuries. he is the more serious of the two. the other is a 20-year-old volunteer firefighter out of calvert county. he was taken by ambulance to calvert memorial hospital in prince frederick. he is said to be in better condition. the problem with the fire, it's such a rural area, they have had to truck the water in from nearby ponds to fight this. it took about four hours to get it under control. the two firefighters that were trapped down in the basement after collapsing through the first floor with the three others, they will be okay. >> wow, that is good news. still a developing story. we know you will stale on top of it. we will have the latest at 10:00. >>> deadly came page in virginia. eight people are dead and a small town was terrorized during a manhunt. bomb experts uncovered numerous explosives. the suspect, christopher speight surrendered to police this morning. roz plater is live with the details. >>

-degree reading. not only in washington but at dulles and manassas. baltimore 53 degrees. leonardtown 48. it won't be too cold tonight. some clouds will come in and that means it won't be bitter cold, 34 degrees and above freezing in the district. most of the colder spots maybe around 30 degrees. no 20s or ens in the forecast. for tomorrow, another comfortable day, 52 degrees not quite as warm as today but a mix of clouds and sun, a quiet day and most of wednesday will be quiet, as well. talk about the weather headlines. not all of this week will be as easy as today is. low 50s tomorrow, that's good news. a weak front will cross tomorrow and that will bring in cooler temperatures from wednesday and beyond. in fact, by the end of the week we will be right back where we normally are for this time of the year. the time period that we will keep an eye on is thursday. and especially on thursday night. there's a huge storm affecting california. that will be in our region on thursday night. it could bring us a little mixed bag of everything including a wintry mix and could be some freezing rain
